Clouds

Clouds drift by,
my mind free to fly

Clouds swelling high,
I dreamily sigh

For this is where I want to be,
soft wind blowing on me,
this is what is meant to be free

Golden sun,
clouds of white
azure sky.
Never had such fun!
such freedom to fly,
watching clouds pass me by

To loop and roll round clouds of white,
high as a kite!
Such joy of flight.
Me,
Myself,
no crowd,
as I play in sunlit cloud

Dive in to misty white,
soft cloud light,
burst through the other side,
blue sky miles wide

Golden sun ,
can be such fun,
but clouds take my breath away,
for this is where I want to play
