Nice metaphor I think, I ray of sun peaks through a cloud, as we find a ray of hope.

David, I am more of a down-to-earth person, so much of the time these poems are about my life as I live it, sometimes though they are made up, poetic touches are added but writing this one, I was out walking the dog early in the morning and that is what I saw on this particular work. Your visits are uplifting and encouraging. 👍⭐. Sara K.

Your wishes are uplifting, Howard. The clouds are heavy and the air is like a sauna this morning, but the crows and crickets were singing. I appreciate the time spent here. 👍⭐. Sara K.

Dear Sara, there is such a gentle, uplifting tenderness in this image. You’ve captured that subtle, magic threshold where nature mirrors the human heart. A lovely, peaceful, and deeply comforting tanka-like meditation. Blessings, Daniel

Clouds have the ability to change our moods and emotions, Sara. This tanka aptly manages to do that, eventually helping to raise a "broken spirit". ~ Best regards, my friend.// paul

Thank you, Paul. Yes, the sun came out and steamed up our area from the elevated moisture levels, and it is back summertime once again. Your visit was uplifting. 👍. Sara K.
