Clouds
Calm appears following a ferocious storm
As clouds turn marshmallow white again,
In the stillness, nature returns to a norm.
Drifting across patches of deep blue sky
The clouds resume their cottony shapes
As we observe them lazily passing by.
Our souls are soothed by the silence,
Following the loud thunder and lightning,
As clouds take up a slow, steady cadence.
