Clouds
They grew before my eyes like spinning candy floss
The sunset at times turning them into pink gloss
Tempting me to lick some off the sky,
I’ve looked at clouds that way!
I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now
From far or near, short or tall and still somehow
It’s clouds in giant patterns I recall
I don’t know these clouds at all!
The naughty ones stand and block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone!
So many things I could have done
But clouds got in my way!
