Clouds

The clouds are massive and dark but they move through a silken blue sky with no harmful intentions The wind is steady and cool yet somehow it warms me with the smell of spring One drop of rain falls to my face if only to remind me … of possibilities The sun takes it’s curtain calls between the clouds it’s brilliant face never revealed too long The birds call to each other in chaos still the plan is clear… one world My thoughts are massive and dark but they move through a silken blue mind with no harmful intention - Poem of the Day 5-18-2018

There is no harmful intention by the dark clouds, through which the sun shines to warm us and cause vibrant colors to burst forth in spring and summer. We can summarize all this from the beautiful imagery you painted in this poem. Congratulations Chris on making POTD. Love the format you used to move flowingly from stanza to stanza. Hugs, Rainbow.

Love the last stanza. It brings unexpected depth to your poem. As you read the first few stanzas, it seems light and up beat with the dark clouds not having harmful intentions but your emotional darkness abruptly changes that feeling. I also like your puffy stanzas.
