Closed Room

Been feeling a little down lately 
Cant control what resides in me 
Ah got feelings am tryna hide 
Got answers am tryna find 
Got thoughts crowed in my mind 

Looking at my life as it goes by
Got tears build up in my eyes 
Oh how i wanna cry 
But i tell myself its alright 
Its gonna be fine 
Take it one day at a time 

But god dam this feeling is real 
This pain that i feel 
It got me in my knees 
God  help me please 

Yh they see me smile 
But little do they realize 
That its just another disguise 
To hide the pain inside 

Seems like ive locked myself away 
Behind a closed door everyday 
And i dont seem to see 
Any light shining upon me 
How could it be 
Darkness is over taking me

When I find myself in that place I keep praying even amidst the darkness. God didn’t magically take me out of it but held my hand through it. Things happened in succession that were absolutely from God. Hang onto the good things even through the hard. Hugs to you dear Cynthia!
