Wow, very imaginative this could be interpreted so many ways. I like to think he kept his wife's necklace in his pocket out of love. Though touching for the love of his life and how much she was loved at the same time a constant reminder the love of her life is gone. I could interpret at least two more stories and many variances of each. I hope you don't mind my imagination going wild with what is after all your write. I am a theatrical director and I can't help myself. Lots Of Love Armand!
