"clockwork Man"

Lost my key no energy no plans to execute mind shut on mute need a way to wind up cease being a lump don't do dope lose all hope not really depressed just tired I guess tired of a clock time doled in a block of work and meals it all just feels slowly robotic a life so unchaotic boring in its routine stifling inbetween those quiet moments of tick tock that lock my mind in peace with no need to reach beyond NOW. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ words taken from a Henning Mankell mystery prompting this write. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The short lines work well for a creative perspective--one that most will relate to. It has a lighthearted feel that works well. Nice use of rhyme. Keep on writing. Have a wonderful weekend. Karen
