Clocks Lie

I have crawled into a self imposed dark space
but would I let you in, again?
Maybe...maybe not, but I miss you

The sky is full of stars
but not enough to count the times you gave me paradise
you aren't here anymore only reminiscences are my consolation

Why did you go so far away?
I seek solace from a pitiless world
I found loving is not for the weak.

Are clocks really that truthful?
My clock lies, it’s moving too fast
it took you away too painstakingly quick

Your face begins to lose its contours.
The bleeding sky joins me in crying for you
and deep within me I carry memories of our last kiss.

True. So many wonders in the Universe--yet it is empty when without love. Well said, Norberto!
