Climbers

Boot banter grows
Telling these are innocents abroad,
Flash of flesh,
And free movement,
The long vista taken
Through the window,
Fresh Segantini colours;
Not long.
Treading cobblestones,
Draining clear water,
Fit for march;
Like a train,
They snake,
Towards defiant, misty,
White caps.
