Click Vs Clink

It already seems so long ago
    transactions went
      'clink, clink, clink'

Now that we all buy online
    our 'turnstiles' go
      'click, click, click'

  The first way requires me
to get up off my duff
The second lets me laze away
    in pj's ~ that's not so tough

  Between 'clink, clink, clink'
    and 'click, click, 'click' ~
  Which one have you picked?

Makes it easier for the cashiers…no need to be money wise. What about the slip..slip..slip - slipping out bill after bill.

Followed by the 'clink, clink, clink' of the handcuffs, eh?!

Hi.Gershon, Long ago was fun,…people here go out, and walk through stores with cell phones stuck to their ears and talking loudly. It’s as if fellow shoppers do not exist.and also, stores are lockinup products. Add the thieves whu are allowed to do so, or the chance of being injured!During Mask Insanity! That did it for me….prefer being safe at. home. I spent75 years shopping. Thars enough! Pangie

It sure is depressing in a lot of stores today. Thieves rule. Honest folks are in retreat, aided and abetted by the governments' decisions to stop prosecuting 'minor misdemeanors.' Bad mistake!!! :) gw

I prefer Clink, Clink, Clink...but most of my purchasing nowadays sadly is click, click, click. A habit that I picked up during the Pandemic and one that is so hard to break.

I like ' clink, clink. Clink' you can see what you have spent, go shopping and see your purchases and try them on. Meet other people at the shops and feel part of the real world etc. And the clink of a glass of wine would not be the same if it made a click noise.
