Cletus O'Toole's Fatal Thirst For Beer

He quaffed a six-pack of Corona Beers

Ending up with the worst headache in years

      Perhaps to lessen his plight

He should've had a Bud Lite

Sure sign of 'corona' virus, he fears!

Ahhhh ... that poor, poor beer company of Corona. Taking a hard hit in the sales, most definitely, due to this virus (what's in a name, Shakespeare quipped ...... unfortunately quite a lot! And the dip in profits is proof...) A witty zinger there, Robert. I must have missed out on all these "Cletus O'Toole" shenanigans ... an alias of your, perhaps? Lol...

I enjoyed your comments, Tim. Seems ol' Cletus was born under a dark cloud and it still haunts him since everything he does he screws it up. I've written a series of stuff about him. I worked for a guy named Cletus when a kid and I always thought the name sorta ridiculous and for some reason it has always stuck with me! Take great care - Bob

Great to hear from you, Harry. Yep, I suspect Corona Beer is getting heaps of unpleasant things said about them! Hope all goes well with you and your family during these perilous times - bottom line, hunker down! Bob

Thank you Ilene. Wouldn't it be something if they discovered that by slurping Corona that it would be the cure! I guess all we can do is take it one day at a time, wash our hands, etc. Our guv now says to wear masks. I pray you and your family are not directly involved in the very serious NYC situation. Hunker down and stay safe - Bob

G'day Bob … I'm giggling away here Bob. You did a great job with your limerick by giving a little humour instead of warranted fear - Lindsay

Thank you, Lindsay and thanks for planting the idea for this one in my skull. Perhaps if he'd swilled an Australian Tooheys or Lucky Bay it would have gone better for him. Hunker down Matey and stay safe - Bob
