Clerihew Cornish

A coalminer by trade Norman Cornish*
in his forties achieved his artistic wish
Like Lowry, at the end of his working day
locals&locality depicted in his own stylised way

I absolutely love Norman Cornish's work..A great north-east artist. I saw a TV programme about him going to the pub and sketching people while sitting there. Enjoyed the clerihew. Cheers - Gary
