Clean Your Room

It was fun
When I was young.
As I grew older it became more of a chore
That adults will not ignore.
Most of my stuff is attached to my heart strings
I can't keep my eyes from watering.
I simply can't bring myself to put anything on
The outside of my bedroom door
Furthermore
Here's a flash!
My stuff's not trash. It's my stash.
Who knows, if I keep it long enough it could end
Up on some museum floor
Greatly adored for evermore.

G'day Bette … I'm a bit of a hoarder myself, but like you in your verse, what is my stash others class as trash and when my back is turned; the tip becomes my museum, but that makes room to start again - thank you Bette - Lindsay

Some things are so hard to part with, they are part of our memoirs, Yet when a room gets clean, it can be such a refreshing . The secret is to know what to throw away and what to keep.xo

I was taught when I was young when family or friends give you something you take care of it because your never know if it will be the last time you see that person. Since a lot of family, friends and even my child has passed it is nice to have momentos. I have a sentimental bone so everything is precious.
