yes,he's so famous. Did you ever see Ferris Bueller's Day Off? From 80's, a really great comedy classic. In a museum, one of the characters is looking at a Monet. As he stares at it, the camera goes closer and closer to it, until we can see the actual dots and how they formed the overal look of the paintings.

Love his work! Love the impressionists in general. Love pastel art -- use to do a lot of pastel art, seldom having two fingers the same color, and a carpet without an interesting pattern of ground-in stains. Blessings.
