Clarity
To reach within and to pull out the pain
And expose their tremors that vibrate still
To move between senses and to sustain
And challenge validity, strength of will
I 'm lost in a time, a soul unaware
In a world cold where sadness will absorb
Confused by the moments tightening snare
As tears begin to flow from each closed orb
To fall to my knees in a long silent scream
That pierced the soul with its pain profound
And remembered the death of your eyes gleam
To wander in emptiness round and round
Sad is the innocence betrayed by death
Sad is a love that has felt one's last breath
