City Lights

I leave the quietness of the village I take a leap of faith Into the blinding Lights These Lights hold the freedom I long These Lights hold Hope's sweet song 'These City Lights carry strength for weary bones And promise a future of bright colored tones I leave the dullness of Farm life And I jump headlong for the City Lights The lights caress and warm my cold forehead And the beauty of the place is more than i Fore heard The city lights form dancing shadows That herald my entry into my new home The rancor of the city is my welcome applause As I take a bow under these City Lights
