Circles of Death

When dogs of war invade our shores.
   As refugees through open doors,
   They lie within.
   To infiltrate, then preaching hate.
   Their actions soon will devastate,
   In mortal sin.

   Those deranged minds, insanely mocks,
   When death escapes Pandora's box
   To kill at will.
All Faiths as one in silence prayed.
And wondered why they were betrayed.
   While grieving still.

Brothers in arms stand toe to toe,
   United now against their foe.
   A single aim.
As vengeance falls like poison rain.
What will they do, but come again
   To kill and maim.

Hello Barbara, yes the second stanza does pose the question, who opened and more importantly who is going to close the box for ever. Thanking you for your most generous remarks. My warmest regards to you. George.
