The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Circle of Life, My Foot!

Grumbling, the leaf falls,
Upon the carpeted grounds.
Warm orange and red--
Enriching earths, feeding roots.
Winter's a mushy affair.

This is certainly a poem for autumn. I can see the leaves falling on the ground. They are of many colors and they are wonderful. This is an excellent tanka. Great job! ~Joseph

Hi George :) The couldn't help but chuckle when I saw the title of this poem. Very catchy! I saw this in two aspects. Literally and metaphorically. Either way, this is a great write! Thank you for the comment on "Poetic Bliss" Cheers, Alana :)
