Circle of Life, My Foot!

Grumbling, the leaf falls, Upon the carpeted grounds. Warm orange and red-- Enriching earths, feeding roots. Winter's a mushy affair.

This is certainly a poem for autumn. I can see the leaves falling on the ground. They are of many colors and they are wonderful. This is an excellent tanka. Great job! ~Joseph
