Circle Moon

Around the center is my future not seen so clear.
Just around that is where my soul shines bright.
Beyond that is where my past has dwindled by.
Mixed throughout are the experiences of life.
Blended among the glow is both heart and mind.
Circular design secures my presence so defined.
Circular radius allows my friends to come round.
This moons reflection is a rise of my departure.
Never really known fading and spreading on,
Faces seem to appear as I gaze in the view.
Travelers seem to arrive within hazy aperture.
My life is like a circle of this precious body.
Circle moon holds the destiny, brightens darkness.
Darkness surrounding is the key beyond infinity.

You see so many things as you stare at the moon, Cecil! Your images in this poem are breathtaking. I'm glad I stumbled upon one I hadn't already read. Love you, Carolyn

Your poem as enchanting and mysterious as the moon itself. A beautiful analogy. Lovely to read. Love, Shar

This is a beautiful piece. It offers hope in a world that leaves little to believe in. You have brought light to the reader with your words. Thank you for sharing. Smiles from Lolita
