Footnote: During the US Civil War, French tried to occupy Mexico, - for debts! They were defeated at the Battle of Puebla, and Veracruz was liberated. However, in USA today, people do not recall Napoleon III, France, or even the irony of the 2009 bailout of huge multinational companies at our expense - that of taxpayers & retirees whose pensions were stolen in the name of business. Praise God He taught us forgiveness of even THIS! amen, shalom
