Church Choir
The ladies and gentlemen of the local church choir, all dressed in their Sunday morning attire, anticipate the service that’s about to transpire, and love to sing loud to their hearts’ desire.
When they arrive just before the service starts they CHATTER and CHORTLE over their musical parts; but their BABBLE quickly fades to a HUSH when the organ starts playing, its notes vivid and lush.
Then, the voices, in harmony, RING out and CHIME in sync with the music, with lyrics sublime. The congregation joins in: some WARBLE, some CROON, some MUMBLE, some GRUNT, and not always in tune!
The singing may not be of the greatest quality but the faithful who have gathered make no apology. For them, every Sunday brings an opportunity To worship, sing and pray as a community.
