Christmas Rocked When I Was Six
Hoping to See Santa covered in soot
eating his cookies, I dashed barefoot
to the living room and discovered—not
him, but he surely left me a lot:
Barbie doll, diary, candy, nuts, fruit,
books, jump rope, bracelet, and toy flute!
