"Christmas Reflections"
One starry night while the Moon was bright a tiny Baby came
and Angels sang and Glorias rang for Jesus was His Name,
December cold story foretold a special Child was born
soon all the Earth would know its worth upon this Christmas morn.
White snow was falling Wise Men were calling to visit the newborn King,
followed a Star in the distance far three gifts of love to bring.
green trees were laced by icicles draped to the stable where He lay
animals bowed in voices loud to welcome salvation's way.
As carols chimed and midnight timed the family gathered near
calm candlelight did hearts ignite feeling intense good cheer,
a magic scene, sweet and serene, has lived throughout the ages
for essence of real Christmas love is written in God's Pages.
A holiday when all can pray and come together in love
in atmosphere of decorative cheer and blessings from above,
reflections shine at Christmastime embracing souls and hearts
as merry-making and tender aching for God's love and brand new starts.
Red candy canes grace window panes but treasures lie inside
tinsel on trees and golden leaves the Light inside abides,
this joyous Season sparks the Reason Earth now celebrates
lives soon lift for the greatest gift all Earth anticipates.
