Christmas Is Here
Christmas is in the air,
Its whiff moves with the icy breeze,
It’s a season of sharing and giving,
It signifies hope brought to mankind.
Carols are sung in churches and street corners,
They are not forgotten melodies,
They are not gone with their muse,
They usher an ambience of glad tidings.
Santa Claus is at his best
to listen and grant the wish of every child,
He receives them with a warm embrace,
They leave with gifts and memories.
Streets and homes dazzle at night,
Cities and towns are haloed with lights,
They welcome the bright and shining Star,
Joy, laughter and togetherness, this season brings.
