Christmas Come Early
Call me ludicrous 'cause
I know it’s outrageously early but
I’m aching to put up my Christmas tree
It’s crazy but no surprise
I could use a little cheer
I want to buy in to the illusion
That everything is wonderful
That everything will be alright
That Santa will take care of folk
Who have been good all year
I’m longing to dreamily lose myself
In the glow of holiday garlands lit
Close my eyes and kiss my sweetheart
Under the magic of mistletoe
Call me what you will
