Christmas Cheer Amongst the Blear

snowflakes fall silent
         parents run ragged in hush
            children sleep on edge
bells chime come stroke of midnight
three hours past ~ presents wake up

        # Happy Christmas to all #

Yeah, there’s no sleeping in on Christmas morning if you have kids. I remember being that kid. Merry Christmas David! xomo
