Chosen Mountain
Chosen Mountain
I hear the stillness onto many whispers of the lowlands call
At times like this, I felt so very energetic and tempted to answer
Silently they're offering me to be known as a free dwelling woman
Without any recluse to my knowledge abide and having to conquer.
Viewing the massive mountains in front of me, makes me want to climb
It's beckoning to me to make a movement to approach and ascend
So graciously I took a more climatic approach of a lesser path
Then all at once when I skillfully crossed round a slippery bend.
To my utmost astonishment came to a conclusion, I cannot choose both
So then I chose to take the path less traveled and be so very wise
Temporarily this will determine to conclude to my own destiny of fate
Need I say, I had chosen the Himalayan Mountains.
I knew that with my well-skilled grace of arts they'd be less stress and strain
For I've been known to keep a firm stronghold only by climbing
So that in the end I will rise above all the craven of the plane
For in my life, I've always enjoyed hiking and mountain climbing
That I do have the carnal knowledge to choose the right mountain
And initially I shall forever stay straight forth and keep on ascending.
