Chinks In the Armour: a Collaboration

Why do you tempt me with mischievous eyes
Playful and naughty; do they tell or dare?
Are you an angel, devil in disguise,
Should I be trustful, or should I beware?
 
Why do you tempt me with a winsome smile
Not all-revealing, but denoting more.
Chinks in my armour ... should I stay awhile?
Fatal attraction which I can’t ignore.

Oh, stay awhile and find out what you will
My eyes reveal the pleasures that await
Take off that armour if you want this thrill
You know your hunger only I can sate.
 
So take a risk, and bare to me your all
If angel or if demon, do you care?
Into my searing arms you’re meant to fall
Now take a step, move forward, if you dare!

Paul, writing with you comes so easily to me. It honestly didn't take very long to pen those lines. You know the themes I like, you know the style I like, you know how to get me writing when I'm not in the mood. :) 9th collab. Hey, how about we publish a book of our work! :) Hugs....

Let me take the liberty to echo your words, Eileen:) There are moments when we think and express ourselves alike, so that makes it easier to blend when co-writing. Once you start there is no stopping you! I suppose having met in person is also an added advantage. Hmmm we'll need many more poem to publish a book, but it's always possible:) Hugs // paul
