Chinese New Year
All around the world in every nation,
it is the start of a fifteen day celebration.
There are red envelopes and gifts exchanged.
Numerous traditional events have been arranged.
Reunion dinners are held, and firecrackers are ablaze.
Plenty of activities take the stage during nights and days.
Many are conducted to chase evil spirits away.
The lantern festival is held on the last day.
We welcome this new year of the dragon.
Let all of those great festivities begin.
