Children There Will Be Tears

Shuddering in emotion
locked in a tower with fear

Overcoming laced torment

far away memory like treasure

risky sound, delicate smell
dwell behind locked door appear

All feeling smothered in blanket
once swept under rug

reliving a day of sentiment

A sole tear, finds its fall

Peace has found serenity
joy harnessed by silent sigh

A new morning awaits
as her moon sways

a fading dark sky...
