Children Play

Children Play

Shape
magic
fantasies
collectively
imaginary friends live, too…pretend.

Children, laugh their play on a summer day
steamboats travel
making waves
dolls grant
love!

Guess many children live in fantasies and it may be due in part to the harsh circumstances they find at home and in the world around them. I had two fantasy horses as playmates when I was a child. They could fly and carried me to distant worlds where my imagination was fed. This is one of your best, my dear! Love, Carolyn
