Children of War
I'm just a little girl
I want to play and learn
I'm just a little boy
I want to play and learn
I'm just a mother,
I'm also only 14 years old
I just want to be a teenager
I'm just a teenage killer,
I'm also only 14 years old
I just want to be a teenager
I'm just a little girl
I don't want to be sick anymore
I'm just a little boy
I don't want to be sick either
I'm just a mother
I don't want to be a victim anymore
I'm just a teenage boy,
I don't want to be the cause of the victims anymore
We are all just kids and innocent people
We don't want to suffer anymore
We want to be able to walk across the street
And not get shot
We want to be able to live more than 20 years
We want to be happy, healthy and alive
Please listen to us and hear our pray
We are just a little girl, a little boy
A teenage mother and a teenage killer,
Please help us to live like we are supossed to
Without suffering and death
We didn't do anything to deserve it
Except that we were born.
