Children of the Streets
HEAR LAUGHTER,NOT IN THE STREET
YOUNG TO OLD LIVING DAY TO DAY.
HEAR THEM TALKING AND LOOKING
AS WE PASS THEM BY EVERYDAY.
HOW I WISH I COULD OR MAYBE
GET A HUG OR A SMILE?
YOUNG TO OLDER,
DAY TO DAY ,
AS WE PASS
REMINDED THAT I AM
THE CHILDREN OF THE STREETS.
