Childhood Memories

Morning cartoons Grassy hills at noon Moss covered dikes The 30 foot slide Drive through the mountains Catch the clouds in a bottle Tie it to my back so I can fly Nothing was impossible Oldies playing their nostalgia Freshly brewed java Peanut butter strawberry toast The Saturday morning ritual Waking to rain drops The patter of leaves The gentle voice saying What shall we do today
