Childhood Fantasy

I use to dream someone was chasing me,
and I never knew why,
but I always got away so easily,
because I could fly, fly, fly,

Was it those superman comics inspiring me?
or maybe my, my, my,
..childhood fantasies setting me free,
to enjoy Gods heavenly sky.

(Probably both)

Lawrence, this is terrific! A childs imagination is a wonderful (and sometimes scary) thing and this pem reflects the beauty of the childs mind. So glad to hear you got your power back. It is not easy, especially in the winter, to lose it. Turns your life upside down! Great write here! Be well and thank you for sharing. Love, Robin

I remember my brother with a blanket tied to his ankles and holding the two top coners with his hands and leeping of the loft in the barn, into a hay stack, proclaiming he could fly. It sure looked that way to me. Oh! to be a kid again. Wonderful writing, lawarence. love, Lainie
