Blest with loving family’s vibrant care I delighted in belongingness glow Flowing through kindness to give and to share Enjoyed by stuffed toys I could not let go. I delighted in belongingness glow As a child nurtured, counted as precious Enjoyed by stuffed toys I could not let go Midst prevailing warmth, so sweetly gracious. As a child nurtured, counted as precious My heart was nourished by home’s goodness feast Midst prevailing warmth, so sweetly gracious Extended to pets, never treated least. My heart was nourished by home’s goodness feast Around respect bond of comfort’s embrace Extended to pets, never treated least I thank God* for parents’ securing brace.
