Child Psychology

I don't mean to be dismissive                                    'Whatever you think'     
  but some parents are much too                                 'You kids decide'                                         
                                            permissive                   'What could go wrong?'        
The kids often turn out derisive ~                              'No skin off our backs'
  their folks, you surprised? so submissive                    'Have it your way'

I was as strict as a single mom can be, but my wonderful little boy became a teenager and then a university student. One day we had a heart to heart talk, after his last graduation and his third degree, he told me about the antics they got up to. He means everything to me, but he followed his own rules and is happily married to the girl he met at university.Hugs Jenn.
