Child Play

Child Play ‘Where is your Daddy, Daddy?’ ‘On the moon, how do he get there?’ ‘You say with the ladder, he good, sleep, dream, he play?’ Long pause,……………..serious face,……………decisive silence!!! ‘Sleep good, play is better and ladder,…I want more bricks’. ‘Red Lego please, red no sleep, red play with moon, Daddy’. 3rd July 2017 written for contest 'Thoughts of 3 year olds' Meant to be couplet. Thank you Andrea. To be honest, I wrote the little poem for the respective poem and realised afterwards, it should have been done in couplet form. Tried to rescue it. Childish (?). Many wishes, Kai
