I have nostalgic memories of my dad making chicken Liver pate' at Christmas time. He spent hours perfecting his recipe and adding just the right amount of sherry and garlic. It became a tradition that he served on Christmas Eve. I wish I had his recipe as he is no longer here, but the memory and taste of his pate' will live in my heart forever.

A holiday tradition, Christmas time with Dad. A gourmet appetizer. Chicken livers cooked, with sherry, garlic. Keep cold to- spread

aww you should have a go at making your own Tania, but it will never match that of your lovely dad. i made some last year and added brandy - it was delicious on toast and crackers:-) hugs Jan xx

Jan, thank you. I have thought about trying to make it only if I had my Dad's recipe.
