~  BEAUTIFUL  ~

Cherry Tomato Plant

 

I made a plan to plant cherry tomato plants 
in hanging baskets on my balcony
to keep them away from those pesky squirrels,
it worked, except I have been waiting all summer
for at least one tiny tomato to ripen . . . 
then, suddenly, the branches are dripping in red.
