Cheery Day

           Quite
    cheery
         I left home
              on a bright morn' ...
The trees were lively
     and birds chattered and sang ~
               Happy and optimistic
    I walked with a high bouncy step
              feeling whimsical and fanciful
      saying how are you to all those I met ...
