Cheers To Dear Brother
Bearing boyish looks of our great Daddy
here stands our very own Manong* Rudy
the brood’s eldest, yet he looks the youngest
simply because his virtue of kind patience is longest.
Exemplifying legacy of Dad
Manong Rud makes our clan blessedly glad
his earnest loving and thoughtful gesture
remind us of our father’s care as well as wise nurture.
Grateful to God for Manong Rudy dear
we, his siblings, send him our prayer cheer
while supporting his servant leadership
of faithful stewardship midst warm and virtual fellowship*.
*”Manong” in our local dialect means “Older Brother.” Rudy is the nickname of our eldest brother, Rodolfo.
