Checkers

Checkers what a game,                                                                                   
I do not want to go down in a flame.                                                           
You jump me,                                                                                          
then I jump you as fast as can be.                                                              
Fun for young and old,                                                                               
this I have been told.                                                                                
With coins in black and red,                                                                         
we can play until one is dead.                                                               
Rethink your move,                                                                                
before I approve.                                                                                  
Win-win-win,                                                                                          
did I make your head spin.

She had been a school teacher so she was familiar with checkers. I asked her do you want to play a game of checkers with my grandson while I get a little work done? They started playing and I stayed for a minute maybe two to see how they would do. She would move my grandson's checker then she would move the wrong way, etc. I was laughing inside but remained calm.
