Chastushka Propaganda

My country's media tells me there's a man with nuclear weapons over in Iran that I really need to fear.

The new Boogeyman in the sand is bad as Stalin, guilty as Hitler, named Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I've never met the dude but they say he's crude and worse than the devil in high gear.

Unfortunately, I've heard this tale before other senseless bloody wars that were results of playing god.

a fascinating piece, JS.. what the sponsor means is you are not supposed to put your name below your poem so she can judge it blindly... lol, no neet to put " anonymous"; maybe just end it by including the contest title... hope this helps... :) huggs!

And so it should me, you have a right to your opinions and we the reader have a right [I bekieve] to know whose voice we are listening to for how can we consider the source if we do not? I noticed we both are interested in the US bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki maybe you'd appreciat this verse, Silhouettes on the Stage http://www.poetrysoup.com/member_area/edit_my_poem.aspx?PoemID=167227 Light & Love

not only playing god but it's also whose god can beat up someone else's god....and you don't want to deal with my father when he's in high gear.....and we owe it all to two burning BUSHES who made their money in oil and what do you think this war is based on? this is a really thoughtful and insightful piece and thanks for all the encouragement you are so quick to dispense for me....it's my fuel....your comrade in charms....~PHREEPOETREE ~free cee!~
