Chasing the Moon and Stars
Chasing the moon round and round,
Never catching a glimpse of you,
As darkness falls on my dewy ground
You're under a bright sky of crystal blue.
When Mars is shining in your dark sky
And Venus sparkles bright white,
The sun is shining in my tired eyes
From chasing Pluto all night.
When your Milky Way passes overhead,
And on Jupiter there's icy rain,
It fills my heart with pain and dread
Just to start the race again.
Chasing planets never ends.
Guess we'll always be "just friends".
