Chasing After Thoughts

this wind
allures
thoughts 

adrift
in the rift
visions
of you
chasing me
playfully
through the field

laying me down
in the pause
of breathless 
moments
until we rise
in the next 
rhythmic pulse
of breath

like these leaves
still blushed
scurrying along
in the drift
of this wind
