Chapters From My Life

When people leave, we want to paint them as this bad person we know they're not. We're so focused on what they did to hurt us till we look at ourselves for what we did too. I made so many people feel bad for getting close to me or trying to understand why I am the way I am. I made them feel bad for everything. I made them feel as though they weren't good enough for me when they were more than good enough. We get too caught up in them that, we begin to change into someone we don't recognize ourselves. They handle bad moods and swings, that you begin to think they'll leave and find better. And they do. That's when you realize, it's too late to say sorry for being reckless with their heart. You had a big part in them leaving and never coming back. So, you're stuck with an apology that won't ever be heard.
