Chapters

Fear hovers like an
ominous cloud, threatening
to wash away my existence.
If I dare to be still, this
love will drown me. But you,
with your pure heart and
fractured wing-- you will
always be strong, absolute
and content. You're a
brilliant love!

I watch you
from the shadows, with
my heart in my hand.
Your shine and sparkle
seem beyond my grasp,
yet here you stand beside me.
With every step toward you,
I close an old chapter of who
I was, and fear becomes a
forgotten crutch.
